Le Verdon Cruise Port - Norwegian Cruise Line

We’re cruising Norwegian in July 2023 and one stop is in Bordeaux. However the actual port is in a place called “Le Verdon”.

We read that this cruise port is very isolated and difficult to get anywhere from (has no taxis).

We don’t want to pay a kings ransom for the NCL excursion. Does anyone know if Norwegian or the local port authority provide a shuttle or bus to the nearest town? anyone have any tips for getting into the nearest town from the port?

Sorry Erik, no info here.. try trip adviser. you may find others that have visited that port and have first hand information.

Hi Erik, I have the same question... what did you find out? I've heard it is a very secure port, no private access, no taxi or local bus access. I've read that you can only get out of the port on a cruise line excursion. Any thoughts?
