My girlfriend and I are booked on this cruise. Looking for others who will be on the ship.

Teena,

My cousin and I are also booked on that cruise. He and I are both looking forward to the trip.

Where are you from? Is this your first cruise? Have you been on the Jubilee before?

I have cruised once before ( Royal Caribbean). I'm from Maryland and my cousin is from California. How about you.

I've been on two previous Carnival cruises. July 2000, Ecstasy and August 2003, Paradise. My friend cruised Carnival once last year. I'm from NJ and she is from NY. We're both looking forward to (and need) this vacation!

34 days left! Have you visited any of these ports before? I have been to the Caribbean several times but have never visited any of these ports. I am excited about relaxing and seeing these ports.

I've also been to the Carribean before, but never to any of these ports. New places to explore are always fun...we're looking forward to it. I'm trying to decide if we should book shore tours through Carnival or independently. Have you done any research?

I had Carnival to e-mail me the list of excursions they offered (28 pages) for each port. The prices were not listed, but the information was helpful. I have also visited the websites of the ports we are visiting. I am not sure what I am going to yet. I have read that it is less expensive to book indepently.

Vr-55, I will e-mail you and your wife trip information once I return.

I booked independently on my last cruise and the tours were less than half the price and great! Carnival's tours usually run $75-$100 pp for the "good ones". But, because it does make me nervous to book independetly, I haven't do so this time...yet. Sending my credit card number via e-mail to somebody who I don't know is a risk. Also, if something happens to delay you while on the excursion, if your not with Carnval, the ship won't wait!

I forgot to ask...did you get your cruise docs yet? We're anxiously awaiting ours but they haven't arrived. I booked my air through Carnival also so I don't even know when my flights are!!!

I have not received my cruise docs yet either. I guessing they will come within the next two weeks. I booked through a TA and the receipt has the tour number on it. I went to the Carnival homepage and put my tour number in and saw our names listed, that helped me to relax some. I still have not purchased my plane ticket yet. I will probably do it next week.
I am not too excited either about sending credit card info to unknown business. Did you book your excursions once you got to the port?

The last cruise I went on, I pre-booked one shore excursion throught the internet. I took an independent tour in Belize (cave-tubing) and I e-mailed the guy my credit card number. All wored out well, but it was't worth the worry I went through! The rest of the tours I took through Carnival. We'll probably do that this time...however we may just look for something on-shore. Just playing it by ear this time. Have you rpiced out airfair? We couldn't find "cheap" flights to San Juan. Probably the time of year...

We plan to play things by ear also as far as excursions. I think it will be more relaxing that way. I just received my travel docs today. You must have talked them up. I have checked with flights about twice a week. The prices go up and down every couple of days ($380 - $425). Once I purchase plane tickets, I will really get excited. Hope you receive your docs soon.

Thank you for the website. The lowest fare I could get was $420. It is because the time I am traveling, around Easter time. Thank you though.

try this tour .. it's great !! when in Antigua.
The Eco Tour http://www.adventureantigua.com/tours.html is US $90 per
person and They give a 10% discount for booking directly with them. They only take
cash or travelers cheques and all you have to bring is shoes/sandals you don
’t mind getting wet (flip flops don’t work), towels, sunscreen, and hats if
you need them. They collect by the Spot Cafe next to the Jolly Roger on the
Redcliffe Quay Board Walk in St. John's, which is a 3 minute walk from your
ship dock at 10:00 am and have you back at 4:15 pm. All drinks, lunch and
snorkeling gear is included.
