Nice to see you joining us over here. I tried to talk Penny into coming on Jewel last night but she got a new mustang so guess she will have t pass on this cruise.

When I have rest time today wil start doing some reading on excursions for Panama cruise.

Good morning!! Start of another week. suppose to rain most of the week, but we need it to wash away
the dirt . I ask lori about a junior suite , if the price had drop but she told me the price went up again.
i will be kicking myself all year for not taking it when the price was very low. hope

Howdi maw, earl and the rest of U Jewel Groupies. :wave A BUSY weekend was on tap as red & I got to pool up and operating for the summer. Also finished the stair railing and now its onto the next honey doo. :grin I think the next project will be one where a brush and a can of paint is necessary. :lol The windows on the humble abode need to be sanded and repainted before the heat and humidity of summer rolls in. That has to be fit in with the BUSY work schedule and hopefully we can get this complete before the Memorial Day weekend. =huh.

Have done some looking into the port of Limon over the past week and I am more and more tempted to get out and see more of this lovely stop on the itinerary. So it will require some MORE research to try and come up with a suitable venture. :grin U all takje care today and do a little bit MORE prep work for the Jewel as it will be here before we know it. :dance

Maw, I'am sorry that Penny won't be joining us on the Jewel, she is so much fun. She shouldn't have gotten a mustang, cruising is more fun. Tell her she will be missed. At least we have the other Princess going to enterain us.

Yes it certainly would of been a treat to get BOTH Princesses back onboard together as they had SOOOO much Fun a couple years ago. We will just have to survive with one Princess and hope the other Princess can find a future cruise to hop on. :thumb

I am also sorry that Penny will not be on the cruise. She IS a lot of fun, and a great asset to any group cruise.

I am really looking forward to returning to the Canal again. now if I could talk my sister and bro into it...

This week has gone by so fast, I hope the weekend is slower. Its suppose to rain both days.
I guess I will have to go to the video store.

hello Maw and Jewel seekers....
We had a smashing weekend. Cureveo Rick and Jeanie came to visit.
We did go in the pool a few times even though the water was not real warm.. it ranged from about 65 up to a high of about 72*.
Jeanie and I spent some time in the floating chairs. Our butts were cold as ice, but the sun was hot.

Today was housework day, and wash day.
The bedroom is now ready for the next visitors.
We were talking about group cruises, and people and fun times, and the name of Dean and Fleda came up.
We agreed that they were some of the finest people we had ever known. So we called them.
They are doing fine, and enjoying retirement. They volunteer three days a week, and dean is now on a building committee for the church, So they are keeping busy.
They said to tell maw and everyone "hello"

so how was your weekend as you wait for the cruise?

A day late for this ramble but I agreed with Red, it was a smashing weekend. We always have a great time spending a weekend with friends. I must say the water was cold but I could not pass up my favorite past time, floating in E & Reds pool.
