And jeans are specifically noted as improper wear for the evenings if you plan to be in any of the public rooms.In Alaska you will see many/most folks wearing jeans or even sweatpants if it is late in the season. Even on the warmest days in Alaska very few will be in shorts for very long---unless you are a native Alaskan!
