Inspiration was our first cruise in March of 2002. Family of 4 with school age children and we loved this ship and itinerary (was leaving out of New Orleans at the time). Any advice I have would be to read the boards! The ship was great, service excellent and we loved the food. We booked our excursions through the ship and when cruising last year we broke out on our own and found it to be far more cost effective. Hubby is a decent beer drinker but broken down on the trip and had a few frozen thingys. I am a wine person but paced myself well on that trip. Last year drank a dash more since we saved on our excursions. Have a great time! Nan
