Yes you are exactly correct.   I like to leave all those hard decisions up to the people that are going on the holiday.  Your priorities are not mine.  Inside vs Sitka vs. Bigger newer ship vs Smaller. and older...  AND we didn't even discuss the great cities of Vancouver vs Seattle.  You don't say where you are from.??  Travel cost to Seattle may be less ?

Does Victoria make up anything for you?

I don't think you can go wrong really.  All options seem fine to me.
