One thing SunFlower and I do helps out on the "stocking stuffers".Whenever we hit a fast food joint, we each get the child's meal. 1) It's just enough to tide us over till we can get home for good food, and 2) you always get a packaged toy. The toys are thrown into a box in the Christmas Closet. By the end of the year, we have enough to fully stuff the stockings and still have leftovers.The "leftovers" are sent to the troops overseas for them to distribute to the kidlets over there. I just take them to a local Guard or Reserve Armory. They arrange the shiping ....Everybody benefits!
