I am in need of prayers again

Once again I am in need of good thoughts and prayers now. My 90 year old mother has really had a bad down turn. She has alzheimers and 1 to 2 days a week she is having her alzheimers days. She has physically gone down hill in the last 2 months.

We made the decision to enter her in home hospice this weekend. I have wonderful help in Dasie and Carol. Now a nurse will come 2 days a week and if she ever needs in-patient care it will be at the hospice facility and not a nursing home.

All this just a little over a year that my dh passed it really taking its toll on me. Oh yeah and I am still working full time and we are busy!

A close friend of mine has her mother at an in-patient facility for those stricken with alzhiemers. Although she is well into her 80s she is in very good physical condtion but her mind is gone; this is so terribly sad for everyone. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers! I am up because she called out to me. She wanted me to get rid of all the people that were in her room . I needed to move her from her back to her side anyway! It's really hard to imagine what living with a person with alzheimers is like. Luckily for me (and not so lucky for her) my mother is not mobile because then it would be totally different. At least now she can't wander off!
