Congratulations on the weight loss.  On my last two cruises I was nervous about gaining weight, so I was glad that on one cruise I actually lost one pound and on the other I only gained 0.2 pounds.


I have the mindset that I am on vacation and I try not to deprive myself of foods that I enjoy, but  I also try not to over due it.   A few good tips:


- Use the stairs

- Use the gym facilities

- At the lunch buffet stay away from the items with cream sauces (we really liked the turkey and ham wraps they made to order for you)

- At the lunch buffet - only one dessert

- Always have fruit and/or salad with lunch and dinner

- At port - book youself on excursions that require you to exert youself (hiking, snorkeling, etc.)


I do enjoy the fruity alchololic beverages, so I try to limit myself to 1 or 2 by the pool each day and one in the evening, then I switch to ice water.
