Carl--I believe the full amount is split between the employees as you state. 99.9% of the staff is non US, non resident . It is my guestimation that they don't pay tax to the IRS. However, the staff 's wages and tips are paid to them in US $$$ from what they told me. Your question is still valid...... We probably need a cruise staff member to respond!
