Hotel

Has any body yet book a hotel. I have look at a number of places in Miami but I am not sure. I would like something
beach front. I plan on staying for 2 days so a beach front would be nice. so many places to choose from.
any suggestions would be welcome.
In the past I have stay at Fort Lauderdale a few times. How much would a taxi cost from lauderdale to the port of Miami.

Earl - we are still at the Holiday Inn at the Port...but hope to change because it is pricey. I haven't had a moment to look any further right now because I am swamped at work. We are not looking for anything on the beach as we will only be there for one evening.

A bit early yet for us to start looking.
But we would appreciate any information about hotels that any of you have stayed at before.
