Hogs on the high seas?

From the looks of that web site it's a group that is booked. Only those involved with that particular group are the "leather wearers." All ships book groups. Every time I have sailed there have been groups onboard, some more bizarre than others.

Well right now 55% of the cruisers on this are the hogs. I know their biker rallies can get very violent with the drinking. I would rather not do the same sailing, and have cancelled, and booked EOS.

The one good thing about Royal Caribbean now is that they DO NOT tolerate any behavior that disrupts the ship. My last sailing at Christmas they put two families off in Curacao for fighting amoungst themselves. They had to fend for their own to get home.

I don't think bikers should be sterotyped as being 'violent with the drinking.'

Not all bikers drink and more importantly it is not automatic that they would be violent.

I agree RCI should have notified you, but let's not classify a whole group of people to one narrow description.

Jenny, I am sure you are right, many, many could be very nice and not be any problem at all, but there will be many I'm sure that will be disruptive. It seems everytime there is a big rally where we live, the incidents make the front page of our paper, of course we live in a small city.

We are HOG riders, and the behavior that goes on when these groups get together is appauling to say the least. Naked girls, boozing it up and people who are just tacky. It is drugs and drama bonanza. There is no way in heck you would get me on a cruise with a group like that! I have been to several group outings in several states and cities and it does not get any better! I am not being stereo typical, I am talking from 14 years of experience. Book another cruise, I would!
Fellow Hog Rider,
