When I was a kid we always had a big Sunday dinner. With two parents that worked, kids at sports, homework etc... supper during the week was usually something easy to cook. Or cooked ahead on the weekend.

But Sunday it was always a special cooked meal with everyone in attendance after Sunday Mass. I can't seem to get away from that big Sunday meal and usally take the leftovers for my lunch.

So today.......

We are having meatloaf with gravy, garlic smashed, peas and garlic bread. It is brrrrrr here so a nice comfort meal is in order.

So what's cooking at your house today?

We're having meatloaf too Judy,,redskin mashed potatoes, Italian stewed tomatoes, green beans and maybe biscuits. The girls, SIL, grandkids and maybe niece and her family will be here.

We do a big breakfast instead.

Very cheesy ham & turkey scrambled eggs. Blueberry pancakes. Sausage patties. Country fried potatoes and biscuits.

Dinner will be leftover homemade pizza from last nites dinner. (and maybe a salad).

We are celebrating Thanksgiving today as we don't think we will be home for the real day. So it is Turkey and ALL the extras. It is cold, rainy and the Bears are on. Dan is sitting in the recliner. Hey, just like Thanksgiving!

No idea yet. I made homemade cabbage beef soup the other night, and it was so good, I want to make it again. Yes, I actually cooked! If I feel like it tonight I might do that again, if not, brats and Campbells soup & chips.

Hey Hucc, come on down, you would be most welcome anytime. DH decided that I should not cook tonite, however, so we are going out for dinner and what I had planned will be served tomorrow. Actually, just giving Hucc time to arrive :).

We are going to Carrabbas for dinner as its our 7th wedding anniversary! So, for dinner it will be a touch choice as to what to pick, its all so good! :lol

PS Happy Anniversary! It's my parents 46th today!

A weight watchers recipe, of course! Chicken enchiladas with frozen green beans and fruit of some sort. It's a new recipe for me, so hopefully it will be good.

We had chicken breasts, mixed veg. with cheese sauce, mashed pot. & gravy and biscuits...

Well that's what they had....I had a very small piece of plain chicken breast and some squash. I'm trying to be like my mentor (Mary Ann) :)

SunFlower's still not up to snuff. I just got off a 12 hour shift. It's raining .... Sounds like a KFC night for us!
