We were on the Glory last year in March and took the Carnival excursion over to Trunk bay for snorkeling. We don't normally book our excursions thru the ship but were with a large group and this is what the majority were doing and we all wanted to be together. I don't remember what we paid per person. A ferry did take us over and provided snorkel gear and I believe punch. The beach was absolutely beautiful but if you are going to snorkel as we were, you may be disappointed. Now, maybe it was just the day we were there, I don't know, but we saw no fish!! Honestly! We were very disappointed as we had this day set aside for snorkeling. Perhaps you need to travel further down the beach? Everyone in our group and some other passengers said the same thing. I really don't know of other snorkeling beaches in St. Thomas so I can't help you there. Hopefully, this was just a fluke for us and it is a great snorkeling site. By the way, after our Trunk Bay excursion we had plenty of time to walk into town to do some shopping. I'm not sure how long you are in St. Thomas but for us it was plenty of time for both. Good luck to you and enjoy your cruise!
