Have you ever had a cosmetic procedure done?

I know some of you probably won't answer this question. Thats understandable. I did have my lips done. They are fuller than before. But I was thinking of having the Lifestyle Lift done. My hubby says I don't need it. But we see things Men don't see. Have you or Do you know of anyone who has had this done?

I have had a breast reduction, which I consider for "cosmetic" purposes, though my insurance paid for it as medically necessary - a nice bonus! :) Best thing I ever did for myself, too! I told DH that once I've maintained my weight loss for a year, I am having a tummy tuck if I still have the baby flab.....though my personal trainer assures me that won't be necessary!

I know someone who had a tummy tuck and they said it was the most painful thing they had ever done. I'd tell you exactly how she described it, but I'm pretty sure it would be sensored! :lol

Like Cycofan, I have had a breast reduction.........BEST thing I have ever done. It was for back problems, so insurance paid.....this was way back in 1985. Not considering any other 'work'.

I have had a my nose reconstucted (rhinoplasty), for medical and cosmetic reasons. I've also had lasik eye surgery after wearing glasses for a year. That was the best $5150.00 i've ever spent, 20/20 in both eyes now.

I had breast reduction as well, a couple of years ago. It was due to neck/back pain, so insurance paid. Wish I could lose the weight that would make it look worthwhile.

I had lasik last year instead of getting a diamond bracelet. That was a good choice.
Now I need my face lifted and a new body slid in underneath.

No I haven't. If I did anything I would want a breast reduction. But then I would need a fanny tuck at least now I am pretty evenly weighted on each side! :lol :lol

I've had rhinoplasty (twice), and breast augmentation. The 2 nose jobs were done back in the 80s and the breast augmentation was done about 14 years ago. I do NOT regret any of it! But now I wish I could afford to get my lips done (like you did r8derfan) and also just have the "jowl area" tightened up a bit. But I can't afford to cruise and have procedures done, so I choose to cruise.

Nitestar,
My lips I had done when we lived in Oklahoma. The cosmetic Dr. used a Silicone gel substance that is illegal in some states. It was $100 per treatment. I did around 7-8 of these treatments within a 2 yr period. They are permanant and I get complements. I am very happy with my lips. But now I'm getting some loose skin on my neck and some jowls. Yuck!

My sister had about $5000 worth of work done. Here's a picture of her with her son. (Just for curiosity....guess her age)

r8derfan.....sounds like you have the same problem I do in the "jowl" area. Mine is not bad....yet....but just wish I could nip it before I get any older and it starts getting bad (I'm 54 now). But like I said....I choose cruise instead. And for reggae....I hate trying to guess a woman's age cause if you guess wrong, it is highly insulting. With that said....she looks pretty much the same as I do age wise, so I'm going to say 53 or 54????

Anyone else care to guess the age?

I'll post her age later today....

ps...don't worry about offending her, we have fun with this all the time, and she gets a kick out of it too. :)

Well now that I get a better look. She looks like a friend of mine who just turned 65, and she really looks great. But then again she has had work. So I'll go with 65.
