What a great mom! I don't have any kids but I was raised by parents with high standards. We knew what they expected and what the reprecussions (sp?) would be if we didn't live up to it. They expected good grades and as long as they saw us work hard to get them we were cool. We had chores and got grounded if we didn't do them.We never had an official curfew. They believed that the curfew changed based on what we were doing and where we were going. For example if we were going to a 7:00 movie and then to Burger King, our curfe might be 10:30 or 11:00. Why say midnight...there's too much time between then and the movie to get into trouble.My brother and I were both good kids and our friends (for the most part) were good kids. Neither of us were ever in trouble. I thank my parents for that...even if I don't tell them enough!
