Good Tuesday Afters

Well I woke up tired this morning. I tried to stay awake for the end of the Rockies Baseball Game. I did fall asleep in the 7th inning but not before we had a solid lead.


[size=large]The Rockies are going to the World Series. [/size]

This is the first time in the history of the team that the Rockies have made it to the World Series. The first time they have ever even made it to the National League finals and now they hold the title. The City was alive and going crazy last night.

Now those Red Sox need to get a handle on themselves. :grin

So while I try not to nap through my work today.... :lol Everyone have a great day!

So exciting when you have a team that's out there winning!! I can imagine how exciting it is for the entire town

I remember when the Red Wings (hockey) won in Detroit. For weeks, everyone was running around Detroit with a broom!!

My weekly Dr. visits are going a little better. Now I have the doctor himself finding my port. He set up my next surgery. It's not until February...YIKES! That was the soonest available. I wish it could be sooner, but not possible.

Got a lot to do today, then tonight....big Pinocle game with the gang. I hope we win all the games tonight. We need to beat those braggers!!

We won again last night - good game. Hope they can pull anohter winner out tonight.

I stayed up and watched the game also. Good thing my main boss is out this week! lol

Ahoy there Afters. Congratuations to both Judy and Donna on their team wins last night. Donna, I hope your team wins the title too....since our team isn't in the running, might as well go with a OH team since Leatherneck is still a Buckeye :lol

Morning girls-I turn the TV on of a night start a show and wake up at the end of show after that--good thing I am watching lots of HTV as at least they have a repeating show schedule course some night it takes 3 tries to see all of one show. Good luck to your teams Donna and Judy.

Ahoy there..well since I am on R&R ..I did watch the entire game..until 2AM EST..=eek.. WHOO HOO GO ROCKIES!!..Mark is in JOY,and I am dragging some serious beep..:grin.. good thing I can nap on and off today

and it's a do a bit of this and that today.. have a big dinner on board with Mark later.. Prime rib with his conference gang.. going to be 66 F here at home in CT today..

we played slots at the smoke free part of Foxwoods Casino last night..how refreshing to not come home smelling like I had ingested cartons of ciggies!!..:thumb..not much for news other than that..later gang....Joanne

Maw, I love HGTV too. Last night I had a GREAT treat as a friend was a guest Designer on "Designer Challenge" so I taped the 3:30 p.m.show and watched it when I got home. You know my friend Linda, her brother's widow lives in Scottsdale AZ and teaches design at the community college there. She was one of the three designers who came up with plans for this couple's bathroom. Unfortunately Cathy's design wasn't chosen but it was GREAT to see her on TV. We've waited over a year for this show to air!

Denise,I really like that show,its hard to pick a designer,they are all so good,tired off to bed,then back to hospital,friend finally had her surgery and been doing double duty at her house for her 2 male roommates,and here with John doing nasty hours oncall,last night they called him out after 3,we had about 3 hours sleep then he had to get up to do his regular shift,Thursday will be here soon,bring friend home tomorrow.
