Hi everyone one. I have been MiA a few days. I had weekend company. Anneedacruise, my BFF and her husband and puppy. It was a 3 ring circus with Maxie trying to eat the puppy, and Scooter hiding as high as possible on all the furniture.

Anita doesn't have a computer right now, so when she it here she likes to play games on mine, so all I had time for was to check my email and edit some photos we took.

I am back on prednisone again, dealing with the side effects. I am so hungry I am eyeing the cat food! But the meds send my sugar sky high.

Had to fight the doc at my check up on Friday, he wanted me in the hospital or else, but I told I was having company. He said, "As sick as you are you are having company?" I told him they always stay with me when they are in town. Gary calls my home the EConnielodge. What the doc didn't know was they worry about me and wait on me when they are here. {Anita and I have been thru a lot together. She was my original support person when I came down with diabetes. She came and stayed at my house with my son while I was in the hospital for a week}. I have to go back again this Friday. My BP for some unknown reason was 210/80. and my pulse ox was only 93.

Now for the kitten update. I finally got a look at it walking away, and it looks like I will have to call it Mr Princess. OK, OK, I am working on a better name. Wehn I bred Siamese, all of our cat's names started with S, (Sabrina, Suzetta, Samantha and Suda for the girls, and Samson Sunrise (Sonny) and Solomon for the males). We had to give Solomon 1 and 2 away, so I am thinking about recycling that name, Solly for short. Thing is, he kinda of likes Princess, but didn't seem to like Solly.

Tonight I went out and sat On the ground, (bad move, all this asthma is caused by my grass and tree allergies) in front of his hiding place under the shed. I had a package of thin slice chicken. He actually came and ate out of my hand. Claws out and hissing, but at least he did it. I actually got to touch him on the back, which he didn't like. But, when the chicken was gone, he lay down a few feet from me. I called him pretty kitty and he closed his eyes, which is supposed to be a sign of affection. He was shaking, I don't know if it was fear or purring. But a breakthrough, none the less.

I don't know if this is going to work, but I am trying.

I would post my photos of the weekend if I could figure out where, lol.

Now, ramble!!!!! cc

Phewwwwwww I was hoping you were just busy. Just got your email. But it sounds as though you continue to struggle with illness too girl. Now listen to the Dr that is what you are paying him for! And why he has a half million in school bills to pay off. I hope you can turn around chickie.

I am also so pleased to hear you are working with Mr. Princess. He deserves a home and I hope you can work with him. He knew the right place to go for help.

As far as Maxie trying to eat the puppy......now that made me laugh I bet that was really funny!

I think your pictures would be welcome wherever you post them Connie! You have real talent. I for one would love to see them.

Connie =hugs Listen to your doc honey! That's what we pay them all that $$ for and if you need more meds to get your asthma under control then the hospital is the best place for you.

Good luck with Mr. Princess! I hope your coaxing works. I would love to see pics when you get around to them.

Meg

Here are some of Mr Princess Solomon (lol) See how nicely he has cleaned himself up. I bet someone dumped him and that was why he was so muddy at first. He is looking well fed! Blue lynx point traditional (applehead, which is what I raised) siamese

Hey conniecat,

Your pictures are always so amazing...the emotion in the pictures above is amazing. The 2nd and 3rd ones are my favorite, Solomon looks like a model in them :)

Someday I will learn how to post pictures of my new puppy, Brian. He is our little Boston terrier buddy :)

:thumb I do think I love Mr Princess Solomon Kitten as well!

This is just tongue in cheek but if you are not sure where to post the
photos, why not try Ports of Call? Your place is somwhere I do like to
stop. Anyway, I just look fore you your name and there you are.

Please be careful with your asthma and listen to your 'quack.' I really
do not fancy another person occupying a hospital bed.Worries me a lot.

Maybe his name will just need to be "Prince Ess" :lol Especially if he likes it better then Soloman. Great pics, and looks like he is so-o-o much healthy then when he first came knocking at your door. You'll make a friend of him yet!!

Suez

Connie - I'm sorry you're not feeling well, but glad you had friends with you for the weekend. Take care of yourself!

Thanks for the update and photos of the kitty. I love Suez' idea of naming him "Prince Ess" - very clever! :thumb The little prince certainly looks healthy, thanks to you, and I'm glad he's warming up to you, even if slowly. If he allows you to touch him again, give him a scritch for me!

Sir Prince ess..:lol So much going onwith you!! I hope you get the meds and BP, etc etc under control. I am glad though you had company that cares about you! Econnielodge...:lol

Connie, the little fellow is such a cutie. Prince Solomon would be a fitting name too lol.

I am sorry to hear you are still struggling with your health. Take care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon.
