It is cold here brrrrrr. Won't get above 38 today and right now it is 14. I am so ready for warm weather! They say another little storm on Tuesday night into Wednesday. I'm getting weary of all the snow this year. We have to get through this month and they we should be on the upswing although we could see snow in April here but it generally doesn't stick much. I didn't budge from the house yesterday because of the blizzard like conditions so I guess I will have to clean my car off this morning.

I'm going in a little late this morning I have an appt at 9am. Then a stop at the post office and into work.

Not much else happening here, the sun is out and hopefully it will melt all the snow away. Everyone have a great day!

Good morning, Judy! Still no word on if school is cancelled, so maybe they will go with the 2 hour delay. Our school builds 2 snow days into the calendar, and those are long gone. We were supposed to have the Friday before spring break off as a teacher work day, but they are going to school to try to make up a day. This has been one long winter.

I'll have to take a wait and see approach to the day. I could use some time to clean out closets, etc., so maybe a school cancel wouldn't be all bad. I'm also still looking for a summer vacation for us. Air fare is just outrageous right now, so we might find something closer to home. Could use today to do some research there, too.

Take care all! Play safe!

Winter is too long this year -- thanks to that rotten rodent who lives north of us.

Good Morning Judy, and gang..:daisy..

was so good to natter with you for a long time last night, and make plans for Colorado this summer.. I am So blasted sick of Winter I am turning mean..:worried.. I get the wah wahs.sigh..

.and it's a good thing I am starting to pack in increments today, and tomorrow, and then start whamming this weekend..for Aruba.,.this last weekend getaway even if it was to a HUGE storm in Maine over the weekend at my parents house=eek.. did help..

I heard from youngest Twin DD Jessica and her Steve they are coming home this weekend..:dance more kids to play with I had Cynthia and Stephen in Maine over the weekend.. and that always makes me happy to see my kids.:grin their lives are so busy, and they all live away so we do enjoy when it works...

I have tanning at Noon, and then to work,3-11PM come home -crash, get up ;go tanning, and then work 3-11PM tomorrow night too..

sad to say there was no ironing fairy here visiting for me while I played at my parents house all weekend, so I am off to hammer down on that.. Mark after all does need to have clothes to wear for 8 more work days..that are spiffy at the office, and I de-stress doing that and cooking.. so it's off to get in gear..

hope you all have a good day..:daisy..Joanne

This has been a long winter for must of us. I think we'll all appreciate Spring when it finally arrives.

My daughter Ria is doing just great since her surgery last week. I'm amazed at how fast she is recovering from her Thyroid surgery.

Joanne, I envy you going to Aruba where it's nice and warm, mostly being in the sun.

BJ, be careful driving in that nasty stuff.

Good Monday afternoon, everyone. It was 60 early this morning. Then the heavy rains moved in. Now, it is sleeting, and 29. My cars windshields are covered in ice. And the temp is dropping. They say the sleet will turn to ice, possibly with thunder. Then later tonight it turns to snow, could have up to 9 inches, which is quite a lot for us. Then 40's on Wednesday, and more snow to end the week Crazy crazy weather Just watched the weather on NBC and he said the temp could drop to close to freezing by midnight. Boy, is he behind the times!

I was supposed to go somewhere tonight, ha ha. I am still in a LOT of pain and hobbling badly. I sprained my good knee, and the strain on my bad knee is killing me. And it irritates my back, the bone I broke last year is throbbing, too, so I am a mess. I am sitting in my chair and only getting up when I have to. I can make to my wheeled chair and scoot all over the kitchen in that.

I did make it to TJ's talk yesterday, I had friends go with me and drop me off and pick up at the doors, so that worked. He had close to 20 family and friends show up and we all went to dinner ar Ruby Tuesday afterward, with a cake his wife ordered, vanilla and chocolate, strawberry filled. I was bad and had a piece. He did a wonderful job, of course I knew he would.

Simon brought me his spider in bed this morning. I am taking that as an apology.
