Well it is the last day of Carnival, today is Super Tuesday in many states , tomorrow is the first day of Lent. And in CO it is snowing like crazy and has been since about 3pm yesterday. We have about 6 inches now and it is still snowing and very cold. High of 29 today. I dread this drive into work. The roads are a mess they say. So at 4:45 when the alarm went off I got right up because I'll have to shovel my way to my car just to get it cleared off and then slowly make my way out of the hills.

They are showing the highways on the news, they are snow covered with no lane markings showning. We are on accident alert which means if you get into an accident just exchange papers and deal with it. :lol :lol arrrrrggg please let it be spring soon. The ride home last night was dicey I expect it to be much worse this morning.

My eyes are still sleepy so I guess I'll chug my coffee, hit the shower and try to be ready an hour early here. Everyone have a good day!

Ahoy there Judy and Afters to follow. Judy, sorry to hear you are dealing yet again with more snow. Please have a safe trip to and from work.

Not much new with me. We are expecting temps into the high 60s today, close to the recored of 70. Crazy weather.

Good morning all

Well, I have my Paczki's, and I wish I could send some to you guys. If only they'd stay fresh in shipping....

We've got some freezing rain heading our way tomorrow....then colder weather. But today is in the 50's and I'm going to take the dog for a walk in the park today. He will be delighted....a lot of sniffing will be going on

DD called me last night, she was sunning by the pool in Fort Myers, FL on her layover. Tough job. She has a 5-day trip where she spends each night in Florida. Once in a while, things work out good. She's finally getting high enough on the totem pole to get some of the good trips.

.....and DS called late last night. He paid $80.00 to get his truck towed into the repair shop to find out he needs a new battery. I told him he needs to start studying auto mechanics.

Well, I'm off to try to walk off those calories from that damn Paczki !!!

Morning all sitting here waiting for the other shoe to drop after a beautiful 70 + degree weather yesterday. Actually says it can snow today temps down to 28. Now how is that for extremes. Planning on playing computer and maybe a little packing. Stay warm, dry and safe all.

Good Morning Everyone!

Lot of rain here today - - Supposed to continue through tonight and then the temps will drop tomorrow. After 21 years - - I have learned that Ohio weather can change every hour or so! lol

Going to the club tonight for "Fat Tuesday" dinner. Hey beats me having to cook! lol

Stayed home yesterday and cleaned house - - now this week we need to get some stuff done around the house - - just some small projects that Jim keeps putting off. Funny spring and summer he says they are winter jobs. Winter he says they are spring jobs. Men! lol

:wave Good Morning Afters..it snowed that nasty heavy wet "Widow Makers" snow last night..the plows just made a second pass..

Reggae.. we have Paczki's here in Central Vermont..there are a large contingent of Polish folks here. and Whoooeee Mark, and I had them looking at us at the Pastry Dept of the Marketing on Sunday..and Wowee.. I made Mark just WHIP BY.. =lolgang..OMG Pastry is his WORST downfall..and a close second for me, and our low carbs is doing good..sigh..

so I hear you!! =hugs and good luck.. because next to doughnuts.. that is THE only other thing to about kill us this time of year!!..the other is HOT CROSS BUNS. Holy Moley.. I have to close my eyes.. say a HUGE litany of prayers, and BEAT it past that case at the Bakers!!..=grrr. I about would not fit through Double French doors if I ate all the goodies I like...seems the One Above gave all the "slender genes" to my loving Momma and DS Vicki..me I got the "Italian *Hour glass* shape-genetics".., and food love ones!! :evil..*sigh*.. I just keep on being vigilant!!...

Got some chores to move through in this house, get some lunch, and head in for my 3-11PM.. hope it's a good Tuesday all..:daisy..Joanne

Good morning folks. Stocked up on food as the forcast is for 6-10 inches of the white stuff tonight with another 2-4 for tomorrow. Winter storm warning is from noon today til 3 p.m. tomorrow so planning to stay put.

Hello Afters! My poor body is so confused. Thursday and Friday, we were snowed in. The weekend was warm, and yesterday we set a new record, 74 degrees. Last night we had strong thunderstorms. It is 38 degrees right now, and the radar shows more strong thunderstorms headed our way all afternoon with snow not too far north of us. Where oh where is spring?????

Off t try t get some photos of my little furry monsters. Today is Simon's 4 month anniversary with us. Time flies!
