It is 2 degrees here this morning -10 with the wind chill factor. Brrrrrrrrrr but at least we missed most of the snow. They said on the news last night that in parts of the mountains they went to -30 degrees. That's Alaska weather! :grin A slight warm up to maybe 30 on Saturday and then more snow this weekend. Sounds like a great weekend for a pot of stew and staying in.

With the huge snowfall and the cold the State has had to begin feeding the herds of deer. They say not to would mean a 30 -40 percent reduction in the population due to starvation.

I am feeling better. I still am hacking and hear lots of junk rattling around in my chest. I'll have that checked out if it doesn't clear up soon. I worked yesterday came home last night and crashed early.

Big football weekend ahead. Go Patriots! Go Giants!

And we know what comes next. Nascar and when those cars start racing around Daytonna we know spring is right around the corner!

Sounds like a winter wonderland out there! We've been very lucky this week, just a few inches of snow, but it is cold!

I'm off to meet with sister's today for some shopping then I think they'll come here to eat. I have one of those new waffle makers (that you flip), and I'm going to make the real Belgian Waffles for them.

Good Morning Gang - - Cold here in Northern Ohio also. This weekend the high is supposed to be in the single digits! Think I will stay in this weekend also.

Going to a Mexican rest. tomorrow with the girls. A bunch of us go out about once a month for dinner and chat - hubby's go somewhere else as they don't like Mexican and all the chatter! lol

Nothing much new around here. Got all my testing done and now just waiting for the results - she said about two or three days. Still have a dull headache - but it is much better.

Hope all of you with colds get better soon - - don't let it slip into something worse - - get on them meds.

Morning,yes it is cold,last night John came home looking white and awful,he said he is getting too old for this being out in the terrible cold,today he left at -5 degrees to work in the cold,yet its supposed to get up to 30?I feel so bad for him.

good morning all
believe it or not it is very cold here in southern calif. And it is very windy. I stayed home all day yesterday but need to go to the store this morning. I think that I will go soon it looks like the winds have slowed down some.
I need to try and find a hotel reservation for one night on march 11 before we fly home from fLORIDA.
kids are off to school so house is quiet again for the day. Every one have a nice day.
