Good Morning Afters........It is Monday

I know I know it is Monday and Monday is always a rough day for many of us.....where did the weekend go?

It is bbbbbbbrrrrrrrr this morning we had a frost overnight. We had to break down and put the heat on yesterday because it rained and it was very damp. Will warm up to 70 today and get warmer through the week.

My goodness, you are bright and early today! Ben's daycare is closed for "professional development," so we have a day off together. We are getting big brother off to school, going to hit the grocery store, and then have a play date with friends scheduled in the late morning. We've been looking forward to our day together. It's rainy and dreary, but we'll make the best of it. HAve a great one, everyone!

Oh I'm up at 5am whether work or weekend. My body clock just doesn't let me sleep beyond that. ON weekends I take a nice nap though. :lol

Good morning everyone. Suppose to be near 90 today, then the bottom drops out on Wed. and by Friday temps not getting out of the 60's through the weekend.

According to my desk calendar today is Thanksgiving in Canada, Happy turkey day to all of you. It also says today is Columbus Day. Does that mean the banks and post office are both closed? Hmmm, wonder if it's holiday pay today at work? I'll have to check.

No mail today, but the banks are usually open. The Federal Reserve is closed - no wire transfers, etc., but the poor bank employees still have to (I mean get to) go!

Been up since 5:30. I enjoy sitting out on the patio early in the morning with my cup of coffee. It's so quiet, except for the birds chirping.

Another hot day, but rain coming our way this afternoon.

Just got back from my Dr. apt., and next off to my sister's birthday luncheon. She turns 72 today, but no one is supposed to know.

It's still going up to 90 degrees today, but we'll have highs in the 50's by the end of the week. Typical Michigan weather

:wave cool, rainy dreary day here in Vermont..we need the rain, but the leaves are a going fast..

... and Columbus Day here in USA..Mark is off, I have a 3PM -3AM tomorrow shift,hope it does not blossom into a full double shift.... we shall see....=shrug..

Ahoy Afters. I am back home after a nice weekend with friends and family in NJ. Now I have a mountain of laundry to get through. The traffic was wonderful coming home from NJ today...we breezed right home in just over 3 hours...better then the 6 hours on the last two trips! It is going to be a hot one here today so glad the AC is one. Hope you all are behaving!
