Good Monday Morning Afters

Oh My we are getting a back door cold front move through. That means it is coming from the east rather than the west and boy those winds are pummeling us. Gusts up to 50 mph. This place is shaking! And today is trash day so I can hear the trash that got put out last night flying around. It is just getting light and there is trash everywhere! A little frozen rain or snow later. It was so beautiful all weekend but right now I think we are about to blow away. Where are those silly daffodils and tulips? :lol

Another work week has begun, the weekend flew by but I did get some relaxation time in which was good. I hope with the spring that will arrive in a about a month that all of these cold and flu germs will go away. It seems like everyone I know has been stuck in the revolving door of being sick, better, sick, better.

Good morning Judy and afters to follow.

Cold here in Ohio today - - was 2 degress with the wind chill of -10 when I headed in for work today. Supposed to get worse and more snow as the day goes on.

My dear friend lost her battle to cancer Saturday. So, tomorrow we will drive to Cincinnatti for her viewing and memorial. She and her hubby went on our first cruise with us to Hawaii back in 1994. They also stood up with my hubby and I when we got married on the beach in Hawaii. Thank heavens her suffering is over and she is at peace now.

Only 3 weeks till my day at the spa and then head south for my cruise. I am sure counting the days now. Went shopping Saturday and gor all the stuff I need to cruise plus more! lol Found some great sales even though I hated to spend the money. Got new work clothes and now I need to really clean out my closet from old clothes.

Of course, today I have to venture out for Dr. apts, etc....so I will dress for it, for sure.

Very cold here today also in southern Ma. The wind was howling last night with gusts up to 55mph. This morning when I let the dog out it was 12 deg with wind chill of -10. Yikes. Driving the UPS truck on days like today were not fun. The truck would almost change lanes on it's own, it was like driving a billboard or kite. Add some rain or snow and it was really a treat. ::

Ahoy afters. Very cold here today too....it is only in the mid 20s right now. I am home sick again. I feel miserable. Waiting to hear from Dr's office if they want me to come in or if they will call in an Rx. Got to get better for the Great Escape!
