Good Hump Day Afters

Well it is snowing we have about 2 inches right now. The upslope winds turned and we aren't getting what they had predicted yet. If the winds turn back we could still get a good dump. The temperature is 13 and that is our high today. With the wind we are -10 windchill. Brrrrrrr. I'm praying the wind doesn't change because it is so cold we don't need 8 inches of snow. Right now most of it appears to be south of us.

Still feeling punk I have the sinus headache and sore throat this morning. My fever has broken. I did get some sleep yesterday and last night which is such a relief. I hadn't slept much for 3 days. I'm still debating work today.

Denise I hope you are feeling a little better too. I'm giving this another day or so and if it isn't gone I'll be going to the doctor also.

Well that's about it on this end. How is everyone else doing?

It is a beautiful clear day here in Maine. I am off today & hope to enjoy the day. Snow is in the forecast for Friday again. Just finished cleaning up from the 15 in. we got on Monday. Have a great day all!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Was at the hospital at 6:15 am for my MRI / MRA. That test is sure loud! lol Was at work by 8:30 am - - still beat some regulars in to work! lol

Cold here - supposed to have sleet later today. This weekend it is supposed to be real cold. High of 14 degress - think I will get some movies and stay in! lol

Hope all you folks with colds get to feeling better real soon.

MIL is going back home today. She sure enjoyed her visit and it was nice to have her here. She got a new bathroom - will have to get over to see it this weekend. I got her a new shower curtain and she was so excited! lol

Ahoy there Afters. It's cold here today in VA too and a wintery mix is predicted for tomorrow.

Judy, I am coughing as much new and the sinus pressure is easing up but I still feel lie crap. The meds are making me loopy...thankfully I am working from home today and didn't have to drive feeling like this. So, my recommendation to you is don't put a trip off to the Dr too long.

Not much else new here...just trying to muddle through.

Good day...

Well we all survived the Michigan Primary yesterday. When I went to vote, I was feeling like the youngest one in the building! (and I'm mid-50's). The Senior Bus was out in front of the building too.

We are in for a cold blast this weekend, YUK....but then the temps will creep up some next week.

DH is finally finishing the very last of the hardwood flooring in the hallway. It is so much nicer now with no carpet in the house. Cat is not happy though, he can't sharpen his claws on carpet anymore

We are making plans to go to Frankenmuth, MI for a day trip for DD's birthday next week. DS's birthday is five days later, but he can only go along if it's on a weekend. Frankenmuth is famous for it's chicken dinners and quaint shops. Should be a fun day.
