Mike said paid 2.69 with his King Soopers Card so it was 2.79 before the discount. The news here tonight said CO has the cheapest gas in the nation right now although it is going up. The reason being we have a refinery which helps some.
Our range is between $2.99 and $3.09 for the "cheap" grade. I don't expect the cost to go down because the Metro area - and especially Scottsdale - is hopping with Super Bowl activity. We'll also have what used to be called the Phoenix Open (PGA tournament), Barrett-Jackson and Kruse classic car auctions, Arabian Horse shows. You get the picture - "what the traffic will bear".
I filled up yesterday for $3.25 (and that's the lowest it's been around here for a while), and we have LOTS of refineries right here! Chevron is in Richmond and up in Hercules. Makes no difference, but then, everything is more expensive in California!
I paid $2.95 for regular. At least , the van uses the cheap stuff, the Maxima used premium. Altho, the frst time I filed it up I thougyt they were going to have to send to Saudi Arabia for more! lol. Not used to buying that much at once. ei
