You might check into it a little further. On Princess you used to be able reserve your cabin with JUST the $100 vouncher. For example, if the cruise costs 2000, you can hold the cabin with just the $100, but come final payment time, you own ALL the rest of the money. $1900. Kind of a big hit at the end.(At least that's the way it used to be. Haven't looked into it for a while.)
