Will there be an opportunity for my family to have our picture taken on formal night? We never are all dreesed up and together at the same time. I would hate not to get it on film.

You will have many opportunities. There will be all sorts of differant backdrops and displays all over the place for you to take pictures on formal night.

Is there a line or can you make reservations? Getting us all together at one time will prove to be a chore.

You just wait in line. Not usually too long. Most of the timeyou do it just before or after dinner so you'll probably be together for that. Many beautiful backdrops to chose from. No fee to have the pics taken just for the ones you purchase Go to the gift shop on board and they sell picture frames with the cruise line logo or the ship name. Makes a real nice keepsake.

Cost....about $15-20 fir an 8x10. As others have noted, there will be many backgrounds. If time allows, get pictures at multiple backgrounds. Some color/B&W/sepia [the kinda brownish color you see in photos from the early 1900s]. No cost. Then you can determine which ones came out best

I just got back from the Triumph and we had many many opportunities for pictures on formal nights. I would recommend you getting as many pictures taken as possible because the day after formal night they offer a special, if you buy 3 8 x 10's you get the 4th one free (they are $19.99 each). My daughter also convinced us all to get a western picture taken. We had to put on costumes. It was a lot of fun and we got a great picture of our kids together.

Get pictures taken on both formal nights as the backdrops change daily. Also look into the casual photos too.

In January Susan and I had our formal wear on (White dinner jacket for me lovely formal gown for Susan) and went to the "Titanic Grand Staircase" backdrop. We then put on our snorkel masks and the photographer posed us holding our swim fins. A very unique formal photo indeed. :lol

I am a sucker for pictures!! So be prepared to spend some money!! We also had a lot of fun going to hunt for our pictures to see who could find them first! We try to make the most fun out of ever situation!! My two nieces {14&9} would always find them first.

Mbandy...I am cracking up at that image! It sounds like something my DH would do!

We haven't had a nice portrait done of us in a couple of years so I too am looking forward to getting a couple photos taken.

The prices really don't sound all that bad compared to what you can pay at a photographers studio!

31 days to go!
