Leaving in a month on my first cruise-Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Seems to be that the beach story in GC is.....not TONS to choose from? Is that right? Are pretty much all places free and you can buy their food or rent chairs and umbrellas? There's 7 mile of course, and I read of a few secluded ones-Rum Point, Cayman Kai, and Smith Cove.
What's a good place to just relax on the beach with a book and not have tons of people around? I would need a chair and some type of shade whether it be trees or umbrellas. Nice to have food nearby but not absolutely needed if the beach itself is just great/affordable/quiet, etc. Don't need alcohol or much, if any, watersports activities. I was looking at Royal Palms today but not sure about that place yet. Any advice is appreciated!
