First Encounters

Where will we be meeting for the fist time on ship. I am sure a few of us will be meeting at the Hotel.
I remember a few times with Carnival at the hotel they would process us in the lobby. It made it lot faster to board the ship once there.

Earl.. You are correct in that a lot of you will meet in the hotel. Sometimes a group will go out for dinner. Unfortunately due to the time we shall arrive, I do not expect we will make it.
But in any case.. we will all meet for sailaway on the ship.

I'll be wearing my C@ polo shirt. If I can get away with it, I'll be waving the C@ flag@! Once on board, If the cabins are not yet open, I'll probably be at the Windjammer Cafe'.

=yeah Leatherneck and I usually wear our C@ polos for boarding too. I imagine will will pre-arrange a spot of "Salil-away"...usually near an outdoor bar

Yep.. if he has not done so yet.. einstein will find a good spot for the sailaway.
We will miss Jeff and kari, as he has always done great banners for us.

I would say somewhere near the Sky Bar would be VERY appropriate. arty

If per chance the weather is inclement as in RAINING then perhaps we will relocate to the Viking Crown Lounge. :thumb

We usually try and assemble IMMEDIATELY after the muster drill or in this case at 5 PM. :thumb So I would look around the Sky Bar 1st and if raindrops are hitting your head and U do NOT see 2 folks that look like this :grin ...

or a Cruise @ddicts Flag hanging like this on the railing ...

then head up to that BIG circular thing with windows above the Pool called the Viking Crown Lounge. :grin thats located on Deck 13 and looks like this ...

So now ALL we gotta do is pack the Bags and wait for that countdown clock to reach 0 and then let the PARTY begin. :dance

:thumb Be there or be square....the big downfall of early seating is cutting short sail-away. That was what was so nice with the Seafood Extravaganza on the Emerald...we just skipped dinner in the dining room that first night and eat in the buffet.

OK. Think I've got it. Immediately after boarding, if cabins are not open:

Hit Windjammers. Load up on munchies and ...

1) If dry - Go to the Sky Bar. Look for Einstein and Red, and/or C@'s flag.
2) If raining - Head for the 'Flying Saucer', Look for Einstein and Red.

After Muster drill:

1) If dry - Go to the Sky Bar. Look for Einstein and Red, and/or C@'s flag.
2) If raining - Head for the 'Flying Saucer', Look for Einstein and Red.

Understand about the possibility of cutting out of the Sail-Away early, but don't want to miss first seating with new table-mates! Heck, I just don't want to miss a meal!!!!
