do you have a favorite recipe that you use every Easter? if, yes, please share. here is mine
per Bostongal's request.

Pineapple Bread Pudding

one loaf bakery quality bread ( i use challah )
3 beaten eggs
1 cup chopped pineapple
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tablespoon cinnamon ( i use less )
1/2 cup toasted pecans

tear or cut bread into 1" cubes and place in glass bowl. pour half and half over bread and let soak for 15-20 minutes. mash bread with a fork. add the eggs, vanilla, sugars, butter, salt, and nuts. pour into a buttered 9" square pan and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes until set in the middle and lightly golden on top.

i forgot to add : after mashing bread, add the rest of the ingredients and MIX well. i guess it would seem obvious, but just wanted to make the directions complete.

Thanks Leslie! Looks fantastic and I will definitely be making this one soon!
