Hello C@ Friends - I would like to let you know that my father-in-law passed yesterday evening. He went peacefully, to which we are so thankful. We are making the arrangements tomorrow and then will go through all of that. We are spending today trying to relax and remember the good times, going out to lunch and being together.

Thank you for always being here for us!!

Oh Corky I am so sorry to hear the news. Wilbur was a great guy & I am so happy I was able to meet him & cruise with him. You & your family will be in my thoughts & prayers.

Thank you (((Friends))). It is a quite day to reflect back on what we've been through for the last couple of years and to hopefully start our healing process. And to start remembering all of the good times we had together as a family. Thankfully time does heal.

Corky6 and Denny I am so sorry to hear this but am glad it was a peaceful end for him. I enjoyed Wilbur so much. Just seeing him made me think of my grandfather.
They looked so much a like(my grandfathers mother was born where Corky lives and Paws great grandmother was a Sprouse from Batesville where Wilbur was born. Just feel we are related in some way.

Today is the visitation and tomorrow the funeral. Our son flies in late tonight and then has to fly home early (6 a.m.) on Saturday morning. So the next 2 days will be filled to the brim.

Although Wilbur had been sick since 2007, it was the last two years that really took its toll on him. And although we expected his passing, and were so thankful he went peacefully, we are still kind of shocked that he is really gone and we'll never hear his voice again.

Thank you all again. It is wonderful to have such friends!! (((HUGS)))
