I can truly sympathize with them- on my last cruise in oct 2024 , on embarkation day a piece of food got lodged in my throat- went to the infirmarary- & was transported via ambulance to Jackson Mem Hospital in miami- they dislodged it- went back to ship- was denied boarding by hospital dr- called & spoke-to dr- wouldnt ok it- total hospital bill & ambulance was over $10,000- my insurance covered 99% - however my travel insurance refuses to reimburse me for the cruise, hotel & air- have submitted all my receipts etc- - even if i got a cruise credit i would be happy but right now i'm fed up with the whole thing
