Excursion ideas for Royal Carribbean Mediterranean cruise

We are leaving on a Royal Carribbean cruise out of Barcelona and visiting some ports in France and Italy. We are undecided about 2 of these ports. On our stop in Florence, we are not sure between seeing the more historical side of Florence and Pisa or going on an excursion that visits Portofino, Rapallo and Santa Margherita. Similarly, when stopping in Marseille, our choices are to view scenic Marseille or opt for Cassis, which I understand is a small and quaint fishing pier. Has anyone visited any of these locations and have some experience they can share? I appreciate all of your help.

We did lots of private tours with others from our ship , Barcelona day tours are really nice , we did a tour and was able to stop at Pisa and Florence with skip the
line entrance to museum with David , tour was with Papillon tours, highly recommended them .
