Thank you for the imput. After viewing the photos on Bonnie's site and also the photos on another community webshots site ("marine cruiser " who had cabin 9690 or 9630 on the Navigator) we have decided on 9690. I think we'll be okay with the porthole window, the corner balcony appears to have a better view and may get more sunlight? Ali thanks for the suggestion with the lounge chairs, I wasn't aware that you could much such a request, I just figure that the balcony came as is (although the only other cruise we've been on we had a side balcony on the NCL Sun and there would've have been any room).Oh, one more thing...I posted the above original question on another site...the only response I received was from a person who had an aft balcony and didn't like it . That person reason for not liking it was that when one looked down "for twenty feet out all you see is the metal of the ship" no water. Being on the corner, will we be able to look down and see water or will it be another balcony?
