Enchantment of the Seas - Post stretch

We just booked the Enchantment for Christmas 2005. We know the ship will be undergoing a stretching next month. Is there any way to tell if we are in one of the brand new cabins? We have seen post-stretch layouts but cannot compare the exact cabins to determine what has been added. Really no big deal, but we are taking our in-laws and they would get a kick out of staying in the area that was added.

Hal,
The EN will arrive Rotterdam tomorrow night and the surgery will take place the following weekend at
Keppel Verolme. As for the cabins (identical to those on the NV) in the new mid section, they are easily found on deck plans from RCI´s web site.

Hi, we are booked for Enchantment this July and it is really hard to tell from the website. However if you have the old brochure and the new brochure it's a lot easier. The new midsection has the sports pool and island bars on deck 9 so I booked an inside cabin on deck 8 kinda under them. What statesroom number are you I can try to check from my brochures? I'm so excited and it'll be great to have a new stateroom! I just hope RCCL can stay on their schedule.

We are in Cabins 2552, 2554, 2555, and 2553. Looking forward to this cruise, even though we will have our parents with us. Neither have crusied before and don't know exactly what to expect. Typically we travel with just our own children (hard to still consider a 20 and 17 year old as children, especially when they are taller than us). Thanks for looking.

Love to hear how the ship is post-stretch and what we have to look forward to.

Roland, do you know if they are adding a movie screen that opens up above the pool at night?

LoriAnn - Would love to hear about the ship and your cruise after you return. Our parents are not hungry for information. Maybe in their mid to late 70s we have turned them into "cruise-addicts."

Hal, I checked your cabin locations and it appears to me you're a little forward of the stretch area but hey at least you won't have to worry about leaks! I definetly will give everyone my review of the new Enchantment upon our return. I can't wait and it's coming up fast. My husband is so sick of listening to me and the kids talking about it but he's going to have to listen to us for 6 1/2 more weeks! Lori

What exactly are boundaires of the stretch area? Can anyone tell me EXACTLY? Or is it just pure speculation?

Well if you have the old brochure and the new brochure it's obvious for Decks 8 and 9. On Deck 9 they're adding a sports pool with two whirl pools and on Deck 8 among all the Junior Suites they've added a section of 8 Superior Ocean View's. If you look at the video on the keppel verolme website you can count the 8 cabins. And I can guesstimate for the lower decks but it's not as obvious. Hope this kinda helps!!!

We're are going July 11th out of Bayonne. Our kids are 5 and and they love cruising. I'll have to let everyone know what Enchantment is like when we get back. Only 42 more days!
