I agree. We were on Carnival Elation in July, and there was a variety of dress on the formal nights. I was surprised to see a lot of women in gowns while at the Captain's party in the Atrium. I wore cocktail dresses both formal nights and did not feel out of place. Pantsuits are OK, too... whatever makes you comfortable. As for the other nights, capris are certainly fine. Enjoy your cruise!!!
