I vote for Bonine.  I have used it for years without becoming sleepy.  And yes, you can drink with it.    It isn't prescription.   Just pick it up at your local WalMart. 


Just before we board,  I pop one.   And then I take one every morning like clockwork...whether it looks like we are going to be needing it or not.  Prevention is the key.  You can take a second one if you need it during the day, but I rarely have needed to.    I have "inner ear" that flares with being exposed to smoke and Bonine still works (along with my antibiotics). 


I can't speak to any other remedy since Bonine is all I have used.
