Does your dog bark at doorbells on TV?

Kiefer just went crazy because Wheel of Fortune came on while I was doing the dishes. There's a chime when letters are picked or lit, and he went bonkers! LOL!

I turned off the tv, and he went back to sleep!

Yes....I hate the Pizza Hut commercial with the door bell! They also bark if someone knocks on a door on a TV show sometimes.

Not at doorbells, but Taz, my younger one, barks if someone knocks on the door on TV. Of course he also barks at animals on TV....even cartoon ones! I can't watch nature shows and some cartoons, because it's a constant bark fest for him! The older one is deaf, so I don't have to worry about him barking! :lol

ha ha, I've started to walk over to the phone before too! And with surround sound, you hear it from a different place than the tv!

At home, Pucci couldn't care less about anything - he's flopped on my lap, and that's it. When we're visiting at a friend's house and the TV is on, he seems to be more aware of sounds and action.

Chip used too, when his hearing was good. (He has since passed away) The cats will run and hide if they hear a doorbell - tv or real. Boots does come back out to see who's here.

Zsa Zsa doesn't bark. Our last dog didn't bark either.

Is there a trick to getting a dog to bark that we missed?

Cody seldom barks at the TV. That's my job! (and considering the caliber of most of the shows, I have plenty to bark at)
