I had a look at the info that X has published on the website and based on what it says and what personal info I have from sailing with X up there both from Vancouver and Seattle here is what I think about the trip.
A) A Sawyer Glacier is very pretty. Tracy Arm getting there is gorgeous also. Early in the season there is generally an ice problem and I have yet to see the actual glacier as we could not get close.
B) This itinerary goes to Skagway which would allow you to see details of the Gold rush days as well as travel on the White Pass and Yukon RR. any 6 yr old will love it. ( I've got two 6's in my age and I did.)
C) According to their map what they call the inside passage bears no resemblance at all to traveling a passage. You will be closer to land than most times but not near enough to actually see much definition on shore. This is the stretch of sailing after leaving Ketchikan only. Late in the season it will be almost completely dark anyways.

Love the infinity you can and should be busy all trip. I likely will do it again. So don't get me wrong about my negative points.. Just trying to be fair.
