Hi Conniemc, I'd have to differ with your opinion. Many long time cruisers find it customary to bring aboard wine/champagne. This has been written about and a customary (corkage fee) has been charged if served in the dining rooms, etc. This may not be the way you choose to do things but, I guess that why we are all different in our own way. Granted a box of wine is something new but, I think the thought is the same (wine from home).Some cruisers love to bring stuff from home (soda, water, wine, cd's, etc). Some guests may choose to bring very little. So I personally can see both points of view. We just need to make sure we all respect each others differences. Its what makes the world go around and stay interesting.
