You can carry your luggage on if it fits through the security x-ray machine. mlzangel78 says they pack everything in a 22 inch suitcase, that would fit through the x-ray machine where the passengers board. If it does not fit through that machine it goes down below where it is put through a larger x-ray machine.The x-ray machines at the entrance to the ship for passengers takes the smaller luggage just like the secruity at airports when you head into the gates.
