Ratboy has it right. One can never tell what the weather will be like. I would think that swimming on the ship could possibly be on the Tuesday, the 2nd day at sea. The numerous hot tubs could be used as soon as you board! I live 2 hours away. Some Christmases are spent in shorts and others are in full winter gear.
