Oh, yes, chives are not a good idea for the cat. He was just never interested in it before. Oh well... I have put up one of those foil windshield sun screens around the Aero Garden, so if any chives do grow back, he can't eat them. Luckily, there were only 5 chive stalks up, and he didn't inject probably more then one 3" stalk, so I'm not too worried. I'll watch him though.Good idea with the bunching of the outdoor grass. Just be careful with the rubber band. Cats like to swallow them, and they can mess up their intestines badly! http://www.pandecats.com/poison_plants.htm
