No rental cars, this is a very undeveloped part of the country! There are taxi's though. They built the pier and shops at the pier to bring in tourists, other than that there is next to nothing as far as the eye can see. Yes there is a very small town a taxi ride away. And a beach that you need to get the tour from the ship to go to.
