When we went to Costa Maya we took an excursion up to the Mayan ruins with David and Ivan http://www.chacchobenruins.com/. It was a great experience. The two of them are from the area and know sooooo many things that they will share with you. When we got back from the excursion we went to the beach at Majahual.
