We did Baby Beach last January and it was a LONG drive and not worth it in my opinion. The beach area itself is shallow and gentle but there's virtually no coral and almost zero fish. You have to swim out between and opening in some rocks that form a reef. THe water is somewhat rough there because there is a bottleneck effect. Once you get through that area, the snorkeling's OK, but only OK. I would definitely try a beach closer to the port. Lots of people like Baby Beach for snorkeling, though, so maybe I just got unlucky that day.
