The nicest beaches in Aruba are west of the dock or turning left as you go out from the dock. There is one to the east at the end of the airport runway that isn't really that great, the closest one to the west is maybe a 20 to 25 min walk and it's not that bad. The closest nice beach is either Eagle beach or Manchebo beach. Both are about a 10 min cab to the west.
