My Mom makes the best rolled dumplings from scratch too Donna....we called them "Chicken Potpie". I love this dish but we like the dropped dumplings better. Then there is my SIL Kyle who is the only one in the family who hates chicken and dumplings..he calls them soggy bread water :lol :lolYour right Patty, we all have certain sides that we just HAVE to have with certain dishes. Like meat loaf...I just HAVE to have stewed tomatoes with mine. Leatherneck MUST have corn with fried chicken and mashers.
