So, did anybody else notice that Carnival Cheers! package charges you the $52-56 dollars per person even the day that you disembark? We just got off the Carnival Dream this morning at 9 am. No bars were open that we could see, not that we were trying to drink but we just wanted to see if it was even an option. But yet, we were still charged over $100 for today. Any reason for this, besides greed?

Do not use the packages but on the cruises I have been on Carnival have never see a bar open on disembarkation day, you are lucky to get a glass of water, so looks like a cash cow. Make sure you get your monies worth the other 6 days

Never been charged on disembark days only on cruise days .When you book a 5 day cruise that doesn't include the disembark day .

They don't charge you for debarkation day. They do charge you for embarkation day unless you're sailing out of a state where they don't offer cheers the first day like Texas (I think New York is the other).

So if you are on a 5-day cruise out of Florida they would charge you for five days:

embarkation - charge
sea - charge
port - charge
port - charge
sea - charge
debarkation - no charge
