Just a heads up. I looked at my CC charges and discovered an additional $20 was added after the cruise.

When I called RCCL they said it was for a towel that wasn't returned. I explained that I turned it in the day before disembarkment and that the girls working the station took my seapass card and logged the information and my cabin number in their book. Apparently they didn't scan the card. The Customer Service Rep said they will be issuing a refund within 3-5 business days.

So.. yes.. they do charge for towels.

I wonder if they added it after they read my comment card on my thoughts on the new Towel process.

we left ours in our cabin, and figured that as reliable as our cabin steward Brixon had been.. that he would make sure it was turned in.

Our faith was well placed.. otherwise we would have had a $40 dollar charge also.

I agree Maureen, the procedure is annoying. On our first evening we went swimming and there was no one to check out towels. I went behind the counter, thinking that there would be towels there, but nothing. A young man came out of the service room and I told him what I was looking for. he kindly gave me two, but I had to sign for them. When we were done, we could not find anyone to take back the wet towels, so ended up carrying them to our cabin. As we were concerned that if we left them on the towel desk, they would end up on our charge card. So two wet towels slopped around in our cabin overnight.
